What is the difference between TKT and CELTA?

TKT is a knowledge-based test with no teaching practice component, ideal as a first step or for teachers without a classroom yet. CELTA is a full practical certification that includes observed, assessed teaching practice.

Do I need teaching experience to take CELTA or DELTA?

CELTA is designed for new or aspiring teachers and requires no prior experience. DELTA is an advanced qualification and candidates typically need at least 1,500 hours of teaching experience beforehand.

Which TKT module should I start with?

Most new teachers start with TKT Core Module 1, though the three Core modules can be taken in any order and separately from the specialist CLIL and Young Learners modules.

Is Langcom accredited to prepare candidates for these qualifications?

Langcom is an Authorized Cambridge Centre and prepares candidates for TKT, CELTA, and DELTA.

What happens if I can't attend a live class?

Every group class is recorded and available on your platform within hours. How long until I can actually speak English?
