How Do We Form the Present Simple?
Forming the Present Simple is quite simple, but remember the special rule for he, she, e it.
Positive Sentences:
- Para I, you, we, they: Use the base form of the verb. I eat breakfast. They live in Madrid.
- Para he, she, it: Add -s ou -es to the base verb. He eats breakfast. She lives in London. It rains a lot here.
Spelling Rules for -s/-es:
- Most verbs: Add -s (e.g., work → works, play → plays).
