Exam format
B1 Preliminary is made up of four papers developed to test students’ English skills. You can see exactly what’s in each paper below.

Speaking (12–17 minutes per pair of candidates) See sample paper | 4 parts | 25% | Shows how good your spoken English is as you take part in conversation by asking/answering questions and talking, for example, about your likes and dislikes. Your Speaking test will be conducted face to face with one or two other candidates and two examiners. This makes your test more realistic and more reliable. |

When will I receive my Cambridge certificate?
Digital exam results: 6-8 weeks after the paper based exam. (The exact date is recorded in the COE document: Confirmation of Entry, which is sent to each candidate after the registration closes).
Delivery of physical certificates: 2 weeks after the publication of digital results.
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Pick up location: Langcom, 959 Luzuriaga Ave., Belén, Huaraz.
- Personal delivery with the presentation of a valid ID or original passport. Collection by third parties must be authorized by the candidate by writing to the email: cambridge@langcom.org.
